The Casa Donnastella lies in Massa-Carrara at the border of Liguria and Tuscany. The convenient location makes it easy to reach Pisa within an hour and La Spezia within forty minutes by car. The house has three floors and offers enough room for up to six people with its two bedrooms, living room with daybed, large, modern kitchen with dishwasher, two bathrooms and a dining room with a fireplace. The beautifully restored stone walls give the house a special atmosphere. In the evenings you can enjoy a cool glass of wine outside. There are many hiking destinations and cycling trips to attempt from this desirable location. You can also visit Pisa, Parma, or the beautiful coastal towns Lerici, Cinque Terre, or La Spezia.

Fivizzano lies 332 m above the sea and is regarded as the Florence of Lunigiana. It was an important part of this region even in the past, as can easily be seen from the numerous palaces, castles and churches. The Medici used to reign over this place in the 15th century, later the Lorena took over power.



The beautiful old part of town which has defied numerous earthquakes is particularly worth seeing. Most especially the water fountain which was established in 1683 during the baroque era by Cosimo III De Medici on the Medicea Plaza.



Jacopo di Fivizzano opened one of the first printeries in Europe in Fivizzano in 1471. You can still relive the equipment and working processes in the Museo Della Stampa in the Palazzo Fantoni Bononi even today.


The first typewriter was invented by Agostino Fantoni on 27th September, 1806. He too is one of Fivizzano's famous sons.

Es ist Komplett! I-Net wäre schön und etwas Kamin-Holz. Aber das ist dann auch schon alles was wir vermißt haben. Das fehlende Fernsehprogramm (in Deutsch) leicht zu verkraften ;o) Ganz Wichtig! Zum ADAC gehen, sich Info-Material zusammenstellen lassen und den Empfelungen folgen. Dann geht nix schief. Porto Venere ***** Vielen Dank für die gute Betreuung, reibungslose Abwicklung und den Super Urlaub! Und ein Kompliment an den Vermieter/Eigentümer der sich dieses schöne Feriendomiziel geschaffen hat und uns die Nutzung ermöglichte. Familie Klett aus Rand-Bärlin ;) sagt Danke für die schönen Ferien. Wir werden sicher noch einmal Gäste bei BlumenRivera
