Een paar minuten landinwaarts van het levendige kustplaatsje Diano Marina ligt in het Diano-dal het pittoreske dorp Diano Borganzo. Boven de Piazza ligt Ca Battagian, vanwege de gunstige ligging heeft u een zeer mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon op het dal beneden. De comfortabel ingerichte woning heeft twee slaapkamers met directe toegang tot het balkon. Vanuit de praktisch ingerichte woonkeuken komt u op het bijbehorende terras waar u de avond met uw gezin kunt doorbrengen genietend van de Ligurische heerlijkheden. Of u laat zich verwennen, op loopafstand, in restaurant Paoloemaria met lokale specialiteiten.

This municipality is formed of two towns on the sunny slopes of the San Pietro Valley. Dominating the lower town is the parish church, one of the most important in the area (the christening font dates from the eleventh century). All that is left of the original late mediaeval building is the bell tower. It is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and was reconstructed in Baroque style in the second half of the eighteenth century. The parvis is paved with pebbles and it was surrounded by a wall in 1564 as a defence against Saracen invasions. The interior preserves a painting of the martyrdom of San Giovanni Battista attributed to Giovanni Battista Paggi and a fine seventeenth-century marble pulpit.
Along the road to Diano San Pietro there are two buildings that were once used for control and defence of the valley: the square "Camandone" barracks building and the "Molino Arduino", a fortified mill.







Just outside the town, when you have crossed the bridge over the Rio San Pietro, you will come to the district of Colla, where you can admire the recently-restored sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. In the church of the Natività di Maria in Borganzo, you can see a fine poliptych by Antonio Brea: the Madonna della Consolazione (1518). There is a very old humpback bridge over the San Pietro at Roncagli. At one time, the valley was full of mills producing Taggia olive oil. Besides olive-oil production, the local economy is based on the cultivation of vegetables, fruit and basil, which is the main ingredient of the typical local liqueur. Among the many local summer festivals, the most famous is the one dedicated to a pasta dish called "trenette al pesto", which is accompanied by a classic Ligurian wine called Pigato.

Es ist zu wenig Besteck vorhanden. Es gibt kein Küchenmesser. Ein Duschvorhang fehlt. Borganza ist ein idealer Startpunkt für Mountainbike-Touren. In Moltedo gibt es einen kleinen Alimentari, bei dem es eine große Auswahl an leckeren Produkten aus der Region gibt.

Imperia hat uns sehr gefallen. Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist ein Mountainbike-Paradies. Wir waren grundsätzlich rundum zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub.

Sehr schöner freier Badestand in Andora, ohne dass man gleich gezwungen ist, teure Liegen oder Sonnenschirme mieten zu müssen. Das Restaurant Roma in Diano Marina ist super gut. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Whale-Watching, das war einfach toll!

Die Terrasse sollte mit mehr Liebe gestaltet werden, nicht nur Plastikstühle und Tisch, kaum Pflanzen.

Uns hat es sehr gut in Menton auf der französischen Seite gefallen. In Pietra Ligure gibt es ein sehr gutes Sushi Restaurant:Sushi Bar Megu, via Ugolo Fosco,16

Alles was man in einem Urlaub zur Erholung benötigt war vorhanden. Waren mit den vorhandenen Gegebenheiten zufrieden. Hundestrände waren für uns nicht auffindbar. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Urlaub sicher wieder auf sie zurückkommen und weiterempfehlen.

il manque juste un canapé dans le salon ou alors des transats à l'extérieur pur le reste le confort était excellent. il manque que des transats. nous n'avons pas eu assez de temps pour vraiment visiter tout le coin. notre séjour a été agréable nous en garderons un bon souvenir.merci

Auf der Terrasse könnte ich mir 4 gleiche Stühle vorstellen. Und einen Sonnenschirm der funktioniert und vieleicht etwas neuer ist. Ich werde trotz der "Küchenmängel" wieder buchen, weil sich die Whg. neben dem Haus unserer Freunde befindet.Ich würde mich aber trotzdem sehr freuen, wenn die Küche etwas "aufgemotzt" werden würde.
