In de Imperovallei in het binnenland van de bruisende kustplaats Imperia, ligt het middeleeuwse dorp Borgomaro. Deze vallei staat bekend om zijn weelderige vegetatie, zelfs in hoogzomer. Casetta Gandolfo ligt in het voetgangersgebied San Lazzaro, romantisch verscholen in het groene Borgomaro. Het appartement is verdeeld in twee verdiepingen. Na de entree, komt u in de woonkeuken met centrale eethoek, u volgt de stenen trap naar de slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed en badkamer en een panoramisch uitzicht.

Borgomaro, 240 meters above sea level, is located in the foothills about 15 km from the district capital of Imperia. It is a beautiful medieval town with narrows alleys, friendly and helpful inhabitants and a typical ligurian flair. The production and trade of olive oil is a long standing tradition here and can be seen in all of it 900 residents.

San Lazzaro Reale is a small Ligurian Town with typical small alleys. A great feature is the well maintained bridge from the 15th century which spans teh Tresendo river.



The local church, built in the 16th century, has a beautiful triptych of the Virgin Mary with her child made by the painter Guidi da Ranzo. Today the locals live mostly from the land, mostly from olives. The speciality of San Lazzoro Reale is „Le Anguille“ – fresh eel, caught in the nearby rivers of Tresendo and Impero.

Es fehlte ein Wäscheständer, Dolcaqua, Lavinia, Restaurant Lavina, Der angegebene Parkplatz war nie frei, in 3oo m Fußweg lag ein kleinerer öffentlicher Parkplatz, ich fände es wichtig, dies zu korregieren, da msn diesen

Radtouren per Rennrad oder MTB in die Umgebung. Eis essen :-) Lieber die sogenannten "offenen" Strände aufsuchen, weil sie ruhiger (weniger Touris) und schöner gelegen sind. Den Ort "San Lorenzo al Mare" und eine Tour nach Genua (Aquarium, Altstadt), den mittelalterlichen Stadtkern von "Albenga". War ein toller Urlaub. Super Wetter! Danke!
