Boven het centrum van Imperia (Oneglia), met zijn vele winkels, cafés, bars, restaurants en stranden, ligt in een rustige buurt Casa Abbo. Dit appartement op de derde verdieping is modern en comfortabel ingericht. Er is een goed uitgeruste woonkeuken met eettafel en een balkon, een badkamer en een slaapkamer met uitzicht op de baai van Imperia en de zee. Vanuit Casa Abbo kunt u binnen 10 minuten in het centrum en op de stranden van Imperia zijn. Het is ook een ideaal uitgangspunt voor tochten in het Ligurische achterland met zijn uitgestrekte olijfboomgaarden en de uitlopers van de Alpen.
Plaatsbeschrijving: Imperia (City)
Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero.
The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development.
Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

Its a nice walk in to town but the walk back is up hill. If you take the car then car parking is an issue. What worked for us is that we walking in and took the Bus back. The Bus stop is 100m from the appartment

In der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts. Andora hat eine kleinen freien Strandabschnitt, der sehr empfehlenswert ist. Diano Marina lohnt sich abends, sehr gutes Restaurant: Portofino.

Unbedingt Monaco zu besuchen-liegt nicht so weit von Imperia entfernt. Das objekt geeignet sich vielleicht für 2 erwachsenen und 2 kinder, aber wir waren 3 erwachsene und ein kinde und es war einbischen zu eng.
