"Ca Gianca" ligt idyllisch temidden van de olijfgaarden in het kleine gehucht Besta. Vanaf het terras heeft u uitzicht over de olijfgaarden en de tuin. De buitenruimte met barbecueplek is ideaal voor gezellige avonden. De kinderen kunnen spelen op de speelplaats of op avontuur gaan in de nabije omgeving. Het bijbehorende zwembad is op warme zomerdagen, een welkome verfrissing. Vanuit het appartement kunt u zicht houden op uw auto op de parkeerplaats. Vanuit Besta beginnen verschillende wandelpaden. Ook per mountain bike ontdekt u steeds nieuwe paden. Strandliefhebbers en sportievelingen, komen aan hun trekken met een verscheidenheid aan excursies en diverse sportfaciliteiten, en natuurlijk de heerlijke zandstranden in de buurt (Diano Marina).
Plaatsbeschrijving: Diano San Pietro
This municipality is formed of two towns on the sunny slopes of the San Pietro Valley. Dominating the lower town is the parish church, one of the most important in the area (the christening font dates from the eleventh century). All that is left of the original late mediaeval building is the bell tower. It is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and was reconstructed in Baroque style in the second half of the eighteenth century. The parvis is paved with pebbles and it was surrounded by a wall in 1564 as a defence against Saracen invasions. The interior preserves a painting of the martyrdom of San Giovanni Battista attributed to Giovanni Battista Paggi and a fine seventeenth-century marble pulpit.
Along the road to Diano San Pietro there are two buildings that were once used for control and defence of the valley: the square "Camandone" barracks building and the "Molino Arduino", a fortified mill.
Just outside the town, when you have crossed the bridge over the Rio San Pietro, you will come to the district of Colla, where you can admire the recently-restored sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. In the church of the Natività di Maria in Borganzo, you can see a fine poliptych by Antonio Brea: the Madonna della Consolazione (1518). There is a very old humpback bridge over the San Pietro at Roncagli. At one time, the valley was full of mills producing Taggia olive oil. Besides olive-oil production, the local economy is based on the cultivation of vegetables, fruit and basil, which is the main ingredient of the typical local liqueur. Among the many local summer festivals, the most famous is the one dedicated to a pasta dish called "trenette al pesto", which is accompanied by a classic Ligurian wine called Pigato.

The town of Besta is located near Diano San Pietro (five minutes from the sea) in the municipality of Diano Marina, Imperia. The surrounding area is perfect for families who would like to make use of the beach as well as excursions into the surrounding areas.
There are good mountain-biking and hiking trails.

alles notwendige war vorhanden Anlage und Aufteilung sehr schön Diano Castello mit schönem guten Restaurant Restaurant: die Hauptstrasse in San Pietro weit hinter fahren nicht über die Brücke zwischendurh ca 5km , sehr gutes Restaurant /Küche ,Papa kocht hier Dolce Aqua , ca 60 min Fahrzeit aber sehr schön Organisation und Abwicklung , Info usw. sehr gut !!

Der Garten mit dem Pool war super. Die Liegen auf dem Balkon könnten mal erneuert werden und der Schirm ein bisschen größer ausfallen. Der Balkon selbst ist ein Traum. Kleiner, ruhiger, abgelegener freier Badestrand in Arma di Taggia (ca. 45min.) gegenüber vom großen Supermarkt GS. Tropfsteinhöhle in Toirano. Marineland in der nähe von Nizza. Whalewatching von Andora aus. Sehr schönes Restaurant in Diaona Castello, die Osteria Castello, mit tollem Blick auf Diano Marina. Schiffahrt nach Sanremo und natürlich Monaco. Wir haben uns in Ihrem Ferienhaus sehr wohlgefühlt. Natürlich haben wir auch die Gastfeundschaft der Familie Cocca sehr genossen, die uns mit Leckereien zwischendurch immer wieder überrascht hat. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

It was adequate ! We loved the garden, and balcony. Some of the plants were a little overgrown on the path up to the house, and in the dark scratched us. I thought the advice was good. We love Imperia and ambe a little more information on that would be good. We loved Mr Cocca's pasta and sauce !

Der Garten war toll und es gab genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten. Unsere Vermieter hatten uns ein 10 Gänge Menü in einem Restaurant im Nachbarort reserviert. Das war echt super. Es war top. Macht weiter so.
