S. Margherita Ligure
Santa Margherita Ligure is located near Portofino. Somehow they have managed to keep mass tourism at bay and therefore has not lost its charm as a fisher and farmers town.
For this reason the town is loved by the rich and famous and this is reflected by the luxury yachts anchored in the harbor.
The atmosphere here is very relaxed and the alleys around the harbor invite you to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery, especially the red, yellow and ochre tones houses that line the alleys as well as the pseudo-baroque façade of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia which was built in 1876.
